I don't know about the laws there, but I can tell you for sure that in Michigan, the cops do not have to show you the gun if you ask.
They *can* if they feel like it (not likely!), but it is no longer a right of the driver.
The biggest thing you can do is get the officer to prove that either a)you were the only car on the road he could see or b)he was within distance to ACCURATELY single out your vehicle, and no other cars were between you and him.
Radar is not very accurate, and sends out a signal in a "<" pattern that gets wider as the distance increases. So at just about any distance besides "close range" they cannot accurate single your car out from others around you if the others are semi-close to you.
I've seen it happen a thousand times, even in my own experience I've seen cops pointing their radar in my direction while I was going a good 10+ over. But because they had no way of proving *my* car was the one they were hitting, they couldn't do s**t. He may know very well you are speeding, but his "best guess" doesn't hold up in court wink1.gif
