Probably The Worst Week Yet
pardon this rant but i need to vent
starts off as a good week, then they stop selling players smokes cause apparently they did some shipping changes so no one in the city had there smokes for a few days (crappy as hell smoking other brands you dont like, smokers know what i mean) then the manager leaves me incharge for the rest of the week because he did something with his wrist, does some muay thai training after work, so im left in charge of the dock, pretty much a warehouse job, we handle all the shipping and receiving for payless shoes in canada, and some campbells and wrigleys stuff,
so anyways, crap all weeks been going down hill and nothing working out, all counts are over so everyones scambling to check all the numbers while the carriers are b****ing at there trailers asking why there not on time, then on tuesday i hit a chick in the tib as i try to avoid some kids playing on the side, was making a turn but it was mostly my fault, then another shitty work day and then on wensday i crash the tib... now THAT put a damper on everything, hydroplaned in a corner and the drivers side just wailed the curb, front first then the rear and almost bounced back into a van beside me, like 5cm apart,
i get out and everything smells burned and smoke pouring out everywhere, cant move the car rolling or pressing the gas, wheels pretty much pushed back into the fender. after everything settles and a friend comes over and helps me tow it away, figure out its mostly suspension damage, engine and tranny seem to work fine, bodywork is still good besides the fender which is pretty toast, hood is moved over about 5mm to the passanger side, where gona throw the new control arm i bought in tommorow and see (and hope) that the frame doesnt need to be pulled.
noticed that the rear drivers coilover is cracked on the bottom, thats pretty much toast unless i can order a peice or 1 coilover from ksport, but all in all pretty much everything suspension wise on the front drivers side is busted and screwed, probably about 2 grand or more in repairs, and then after that another shitty day followed by today which was the biggest shit of a day and even the dam vending machine dropped my change to the ground! like come on.... its never ever done that
and to top it all off my b-day is on the 24th... whoopie.... life blows
heres what im thinking with the car..
1. fix it, sell it, buy a black RD2 and start from scratch
2. fix it, sell it, buy a RWD car
3. fix it, keep it and keep on working
im leaning towards 3 depending on how it drives or handles after its fixed

ya i never smoke inside the car, not a big fan of it and if you have friends or whoever else in the car and there non smokers they usually feel like they want to jump out asap lol so i just dont do it, plus i get to admire the car everytime i step out to have a smoke smile.gif

ya... that was origionally the plan.... this weekend was planning to buy front/rear eibach swaybars and bushings, now i gota ditch my busted ksport coilovers, go to stock, but a stock swaybar (depending on price, might just go eibach) and then hopefully go from there

Wow, had exactly the same thing happen. Cost about 2000 from the dealership for mine. I could have/should have fixed it myself but needed the car right away. It was a starting point to me trading in the auto. Also, ha sundays my birthday to! hope you have a good one. im not looking forward to mine to much. Ill be 19. gotta go get one of those new licenses, the vertical type ones.

Before you go spending loads of cash.. I would see about getting the car on a rack to make sure you did not tweak the chassis any. The fact that your hood is now off noticibly seems to indicate that the body of the car took quite a shock.
ya where throwing the control arm on as soon as he gets time and well see if the frame needs pulling, crossing fingers that it doesnt cause that would suck and cost quite abit =/
alright, well an update...
goodnews... car aint as bad as we though it was, pretty sure the coilovers saved the car from having more damage then it would of gotten cause the mounts on the top which allow chamber adjustment were at max and so was everything else on the front like the axle and whatever else, only thing that needs replacing looks like is the control arm (which we got already) old one was at like a 80 degree angle lol tottaly squished, a little linkage between the front sway bar and the control arm, gota figure out the part number and get one of those in, doubt it will be alot... and for the rear just that bottom part of the coilover which ksport said they can send a new one in to me for like 50 bucks
badnews... after working on the car on monday for abit i get home, within 5 minutes get hit with some kind of cold/flue/crapiness feeling end up in the hospital and just got back home now feeling 'somewhat' better but have to go to work cause i need to pay for the bills somehow, especially with a car being broken
so HOPEFULLY... next week... will finnaly be a good week lol, this one started off good but sorta went south half way through again, 3rd times a charm lol smile.gif
