First, pay out of pocket, don't bother with insurance. Second, get another estimate... dealers tend to be high because they usually sub out the paint work.

i agree, however they've done my car twice already and i've been really happy with their work. especially since in know all the guys in the bodyshop, i'm sure it'll work it's way out. i don't know though, it's still up in the air smile.gif

it's not too bad, but it does need a professional hand if you're looking to match it exactly. at least you didn't crack or bend something in.

i agree! get another opinion if you want to save a few dollars and leave the insurance out of it. it will cost more in the long run if they can fix it for just over $500.00.

just got a new estimate on my car because there was a dent in the quarter panel that we didn't notice which bumped the price to $1115. FML.
Yeah quaterpanels are bitchs when it comes to repairing them. Just my .02 if they didnt notice it when they gave you the first estimate, Im guessing that it is really, really small and unnoticable I would just pay the 500 and some dollars to repair the bumper and leave the dent.
