well yesterday i said screw it

im not gonna buy the house even if she did bring it back to the original price

im tired of the bull shit even my father wouldnt have done somethin like this(as some know i completely despise my dad)

so anyways im back in my apartment beggin got them to take it off the market and tell someone who left a deposit if they can get a different apartment...

so tomorrow i will probably be signin a lease for another 6 months so im back to square one

oh well its for the best i guess

Damn, that's too bad man. I guess if nothing else, this should help teach everyone on here to make sure you get everything signed and legally binding no matter who you're dealing with. Just wish it didn't have to be by example and at your expense.

well here is the latest bullshit addition to this story

we got a phone call from the mortgage broker

my mom says she is only gonna pay for half of the appraisal and had the mortgage broker tell were paying the other half


the purchase agreement said we would pay for the closing costs so now i donno what to do BUT i do NOT see it to be fair at all that we have to pay 300 for a house were not even buying

wtf man seriously im bout to snap...

And just like you mentioned before, the purchase agreement where you live is NOT a contract, so tell them to take that bill and stick it! It's on her house, that you DIDN'T buy, so they need to bill her for it. It's STILL her house. Well, I guess it boils down to who's name the appraisal was ordered in. If it was yours, you are probably gonna be stuck with it.

well here is a update into all the bullshit

me and the wife said even if she says im sorry were not gonna buy it

no matter what

and today i recieved a phone call sayin my mom is sending in a check for the appraisal for HALF and the appraisal and here is the best part

if i dont send in the check for the other half or if they dont recieve payment for the other half it gets pulled from the mortgage brokers paycheck!!!!

i have one week to get it paid or the mortgage broker can sue for breach of contract!!! nothin quite like goin to court for this!!!

well i got another call sayin it was 675 total so half would be 337.50

now

on my "good faith" it says the appraisal should be 450 so i called and asked that i got a bad feelin about payin this...maybe cuz the mortgage lady was my moms friend

i also asked for a written bill so i can have documentation of exactly what im payin for
