As an Albertan, I must express my disgust for this pretentious douche and his need to gripe about the tarsands. Perhaps these over-privileged pricks like neil young or james cameron should ditch their overindulged lifestyles (such as touring around in 5 custom buses that never get shut off) and maybe focus on areas that polute more, like say I don't know, China? Maybe they could try living the life up there.



As for the natives that live up there, they have received over 2.5 billion dollars from oil companies and the government in the last decade. They don't need any more.



I have a huge issue with anyone that flies anywhere then complains about polution.

 

I just hate accidentally hearing Neil Young's music.
