Stratus's use 2.0 and 2.4 and v6's

She told me it was smoking earlier. Then she called me and told me she added oil but it spilled. ( don't know why she added oil.) And she could not find the oil cap.

Then she calls me and tells me there are small flames. I tell her I was comming home. I figured she would do something like call the fire dep, or try to put it out. I get home like 10 minutes later and I see a puddle of fire under the car. I bolt into my house and she is chiilin' on the computer. I run to my basement and fill a bucket of water. Ran outside and open the hood. (this is when she decides to call 911.) A stranger poured the water on and it got bigger then went out. Then the fire dep came.

I feel sick to my stomach.

She is a woman. I can't be that mad.

My insurance is going to cover it.

live and learn..

what's the price on something like that for an insurnace company to fix it? I don't mean your deductible, I mean like the total damage, in $$, involved..

not sure yet. Just happened last night. It is mostly wires, hoses and belts.

I'll go with $1000-1500
