Killed My Comp
After five years, my old Pentium 3 finally died. It was a premature death too. I do not know when it happened, but the CPU fan had died and with the heat we are experiencing here in the east (My window units only barely keep up.. it is 98 degrees outside and 90 inside right now) the CPU fried.
Thank god I have a laptop.. just took some work to make it work with my monitor.
But now, after killing and spending money to replace my car.. I gotta deal with replacing my comp.

that's wierd. i have a 6.5 year old hp pavilion with a celeron and it's running fine. it's been on half the years, mostly downloading rally videos, music... i've rebooted it like 200 times and have left it day and night for weeks in a row with nothing happening. it's got 5 viruses on it and everything's ok.
I've got a Intel P4 2.66ghz 800fsb cpu sittin around and a high performance heatsink if you want to upgrade....Don't need er and wouldnt bother to sell....went to the largest 478 socket cpu possible, the 3.4.....next stop: I build another computer. Only problem is you'd have to find a motherboard, memory and different power supply which would probably run about $170
