What the heck!

When I'm looking for parts on my car, first place I call is the local yard. First person I talk to says they don't have any Tiburons or Hyundais in their yard at all.

So I start looking out of town.

While searching car-parts.com I notice that there is a fender 0 miles from my location. So I call em up, and they have 3 Tiburons in their yard suddenly... WTF?! One been there for a couple years...

Grrr... I'm going out there and checking them out. Will post if there is any parts that seem like I could list up here. I'll try and take the camera.

 

lmao... my local junkyard was kinda the same way. i go into the office asking if they have any Hyundai Tiburon's... and he (very very old man) was like, "a what" so i repeat myself. he says, "nope don't got any of those."

luckily i found one of their parts pullers who had a lil bit of brains and she pointed me in the right direction.

 

could u find me two 15" aluminum rims!?

Well, turns out I was a week late again... they crushed the 99 they had, only the 00 left. Didn't find anything really that I wanted, but heres a quick list of whats good: (all items RD2)

Steering Wheel Airbag
HVAC controls minus knobs
Gauges (mph, rpm, etc.)
Both doors look to be in good condition, a couple scratches, but everything else looks fine.
Passenger side headlight
Both fenders (Red) looked good (rear impact)
Ashtray Plastic thing and Cupholder thing
Speakers and covers

Engine was pulled, they said they had it somewhere, so I didn't get a look at that. Mostly interior odds and ends laying around (like mats, etc.)

So I went to the yard today to grab some stuff for a couple people, and turns out they had a Green RD1 that they crushed last week that had EVERYTHING I wanted... Yard guy drove by it crunched 02.gif
