I hate my printer, had a lot of problems with it.
Last year it was only black and white, cause color nozels stucked and some just gave constant lines.

And finaly my printer do not see a cartrige inside printing head (there is a chip in each cartrige). Damn.

Printing head that I can take in 3 minutes is $100.

I will never buy Epson again!

 

I would stick with HP. The way they are set up, the cartridge contains the nozzles. You get new nozzles everytime you replace the cartridge. It makes them a little more expensive in the short run... but if you get the refill kits, you can reuse the cartridges a couple of times before getting new ones.

 

What about Canon? They have separated cartridge and pronting head (that may be changed).

How bad is color printing (photos) if you use not original inks?
