hahaha.. The newest Surgery commercial is hilarious!

I still wouldn't get a Mac.

Anyways. Stay away from Vista! lol. I have been running it for a month and took it off cause of just constant incompatibility errors. I have so much software I use for business that doesn't work with it. I'll have to wait until the rest of the software vendors catch up and make patches for Vista. So stupid. Anyways. ya, this is what it was like going from 98 to XP. But I still wouldn't get a Mac. Going from OS 9 to OSX, then the 5 versions of OS X... Mac has their own issues and incompatibilties of stuff that are just as fustrating.

Over the past few years, Mac has upgraded OSX 5 times and required you to BUY A WHOLE NEW OS if you wanted to get all the updates. WTF is that. At least Microsoft provides major updates within a version for free.

Im not going to be upgrading to Vista anytime soon. Takes up too much memory, and plus I love my XP smile.gif

well if you're just looking for a cheap way to run starcraft and diablo2, neither need hardware acceleration, you could buy a copy of parallels Workstation for $50 and install a copy of windows xp on it. Its easier than dual booting, and its a controlled environment you can run inside vista. It does hog memory like a mofo though.

I thought about upgrading to Vista, but it only has a few little convenient things that I could just download a cheap program for. And as far as "looking pretty" goes, I have StyleXP to snazz up my XP. It's all I need. When I read that Vista doesn't support several programs/games yet, I decided to hold back. My boyfriend loves Starcraft and I still have a few older games, along with some older programs for my music, that I just don't want to lose.

vista can make use of 64 bit processors though... here's an opiton for you. install vista, then install windows xp. you can use either one. it's called dual boot option. windows will ask you which to boot from.
