okay i lied in the old thread.

i guess RDt had just sent the newsletter. I got it, and deleted it cuz there's no way i can make it to Nopi.

why did other thread get locked, this thread is just gonna turn into the one you just locked? wtf?

but i do think it's not a big deal. i mean you HAVE the option of turning off quartely newsltteres (or unsubscribing rather). And i didn't know it was required by Nopi but how do they even check?

I dunno, all pretty silly.

Random word is worth $3/month more than mine is though, cuz he actually gives RDt money now and then I suppose.

Don't know why it was locked, I'm assuming it was because your compaint was addressed and fixed. I posted in it after it was locked.

It takes a few hours to send 2000 Emails. We set it up to send like 25 at a time in batches.

Nopi has 2 usernames at this site. They get the email.

I agree. Spam is annoying, but this wasn't spam. Most sites that you sign up for do SITE emails on a pretty regular basis, and we just started using ours. They will be going out quarterly like I said in the last RDT Update Email I sent out. If you notice, that email brought about a dozen wayward members back to the site.

I did everything I could to get Random to come here and start posting, and I don't want to lose that or his friendship over silly stuff either. If you opt out of emails from Admin's, you won't get any more of them. Please check your settings.

EVERYONE got the first one that I sent last month because I wanted to test our system, and try to bring some members back. I won't do it again unless there is a serious issue.

 

Redzman is correct it was locked because it was addressed. You stated your gripe and I responded to it. If you would like me to open it back up please let me know.

 

Yeah, Java is a different kind of "Direct" than I am. He doesn't whore here as much so he just deals with what he has to or needs to and out.
