Anybody else have this problem? On my 99, when the car hit approximatly 40,000 miles, the hard plastic part of the door panal cracked at the pull handle. It took my dealership two tries to fix it (they ordered a black panal isntead of my car's bronze). About six months ago, I noticed that my passenger side panal was cracked at the handle and up where it meets the dash... ok. so it is now on my list of things to fix.. TODAY I get in the car and notice that the panal the dealer replaced on my driver's side is cracking up by the dash....

I really try not to abuse my car, I rarely even use the grab handles to pull the door closed, Usually it is my hand on the glass that does all the work.. I have had it with these cheap parts.. neither one of these panals is going to get replaced, but instead I am going to pull them apart, glass them from the back for strength, and then sand and paint the exterior of them. I just cannot believe I have gone through three panals in 4 and a half years.

Unfortunatly it's a common on the RD's
I have seen many, along with my own.
But 99% of the time it's up by the defrost vents.

I've had it happen on my 01 by the heater vents and by the door panels...I've had it replaced once but i then painted everything so now they won't replace it anymore.

I think its just an RD tibby problem

now here is a question... if you have a part replaced under warrenty.. I have heard that the warrenty resets on that particular part... so, even though I have 87000 miles on my tib.. that driver's side panal only has 47000 (or so) would that mean I can get it fixed for free again?
