sorry to offend anyone whom thinks those cars are pieces of shit, your average donk costs way more than the econo box tiburons that we drive, also even though dtn's car is nice it doesn't belong anywhere near those big bodies

 

it's not the part that they cost more bud. the reason i say it's a waste is the way I have been brought up in terms of customizing a vehicle isto make a car better in terms of handling, power, comfort, etc. I really can't see any way a DONK vehicle can control better than a original car of the same year/make with it having a higher stance which in turn screws up the center of gravity making it very top heavy. I've watched videos of these cars turning corners at relatively low speeds and it looks lik they are going to topple over.

now take the same caprice classic, keep the 24,26,or 28" rims it has on it and slam it to the ground I see better control is all from the lowered center of gravity.

 

^^ you can go over curbs and stuff better with a donk. But not with huge chrome rims and rubber bands for tires.

 

Looks like you and that guy with the Red Sports car were a little out of place......sad thing is your stereo is probably as nice or better as anything in thier trunk. My sister knows a few guys with cars like that she works with, and they spend so much on those fugly rims there stereo's are the Wal-Mart Special

those cars are slightly pointless and yes it is a money factor when you are at a show, there is no way in hell that those cars performance is top notch but it's not a racecar (and in most cases a tib isn't either) it's for cruising and if you don't race than what is the point of handling, acceleration etc. i was raised with all aspects in mind and i've been around numerous cars in my life from drag beasts, ump dirt track cars, muscle cars, imports, lowriders

 

^^^^+1 you have to have a respect for all kinds of cars. and yes just like import guys have money under the hood of their car. ol skools have their money in the rims and system, but leave it up to the haters to hate on anything that isnt exactaly like theirs.....
