Yes, following the rules is important, that's why we have them. The fact is, Kit has been warned several times in the past and continued to break the same rules over and over again. How many times are you gonna ban/warn someone untill something gives? I havn't been a mod for long, but I can tell you it's a different ballgame now that I'm on the other side of the lake. Sometimes tough decisions have to made but you have to do what's best for the site. Ultimately, we are responsible for our own actions/ choices we make.

To be frank, out of his 1100 posts... 400 are completely ignorant and have nothing to do with the topic at hand, 400 are mostly wrong, and 300 are somewhat intelligent posts (for Kit...). rolleyes.gif

We laughed at first, but then it got old and annoying. I couldn't stand how he spelled stuff and how he cluttered up the site. Its supposed to be informative, not all fun and games.

 

lol he even told me himself that if he wasnt on moderated use he would have around 4000 posts

 

Imagine what RDtib would be like if everybody was like Kit-Fox.

If you are going to say I did something, please get it right. I was usually the one defending him, ESPECIALLY when it came to how he named his car. I was also the one that allowed that Post because personally, while a little bizarre, I did not see anything wrong about it.

1) Like I said before, this is a knowledge base. How are people looking for legitimate information supposed to take a post like that seriously?

2) If you get cought doing something wrong by the cops ...10 times... do you think they will get harder on you? Sure they will. Yes, the mods might of been harder on him, but it was because he would keep breaking the SAME rules.

 

I never onced gave him a warning,... and if you look at his, most of his were automatically given to him,....

But seriously,... READ some of his posts,.... so 10%, heck I'll give him 30% of the time he's "normal" would you like to babysit him for the other 70% of the time?
