<div align='right'><{POST_SNAPBACK}></div></div>

I've got one at home and it's the best LOOKING BBTB I've seen. Maybe I'll try it on. LOL I can measure it and convert the measurements, but I am pretty sure they are 60 or 61MM.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Random @ Apr 6 2005, 09:29 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'>Dude, spend $30 to $50 on ebay for a 4.6L mustang Throttle body. Rape out the top holes 1/8th of an inch to the inside, and you'll have anywhere between a 65mm and 75mm TB (I think they also have 80mm units, but I wouldn't expect them to go as cheap).</div>

I'm anxious to see how this works out. I wanna try 65MM on my tib N/A, I have a feeling it won't be so bad. How do they LOOK though?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Oh...and quit whinin'! tongue.gif</div>

WORD! lol.gif rolleyes.gif B) wink1.gif

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (UltraTibby @ Apr 6 2005, 09:37 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'>Well thats great and all but 65mm or higher wont be good for N/A. Also even the AirRam has to be port matched to a 70mm TB so there is absolutly no way a 75mm TB would fit right.
<div align='right'><{POST_SNAPBACK}></div></div>

Well, we don't know that about the 65MM's. We've heard that, and have thought that, but no one that I know has ever tested anything above the 61MM in a N/A application. Random, if I'm wrong, tell me mang. I'd love to know. Anything higher than 70MM is going to give problems with the bolt hole integrity.

$350 is pretty expensive for what amounts to an air valve! So it goes...

yea making a TB from another car is great and all, very ingenuitive, but if we want to create an aftermarket for Hyundai, we need companies to offer reasonable prices, we have started an aftermarket due to our demand, lets keep it. Honda and Mitsu BBTB's dont even go for this much !!!!

EVERYONE who reads this topic, should email david at kspec, and request he stocks the GTR BBTB (what is his email ?? is it sales@kspec.com or admin@kspec.com

-OR-

reply to this topic that I created at kspec.com

http://kspec.rdtiburon.com/viewtopic.php?p=3919#3919

rmember aftermarket is created by demand !!!! NOT SUPPLY

The GTR is awesome looking.. I had one for 2yrs untill I bought Col's.
I thought anything larger than a 62mm throttle body and you would loose power due to lack of air velocity?
