Yea, I know, I'm such a complainer lately.

A long time ago, back when I first started collecting my turbo parts, one of the first parts I bought was the turbo from Onpol. (Most of you old schoolers should remember him) He advertised it as a T3/T04e capable of "400whp easy". It cost me $500.
Well, after 2.5 years, I had to finally send the turbo to get rebuilt by Majestic. While it was there, I figured I'd ask them for the specs. They told me it wasn't a to4e, it was a t04b, MUCH smaller. I ask him what kind of flow and power its capable of. He says 350hp max. That's well below my HP goals and isnt upgradable.
I don't know if maybe Onpol was lied to and never really knew what the specs were, but now I've got to start looking for a bigger turbo. mad.gif


Since the turbo is worthless to me now, I'm getting ready to spend about $800 on a T3/T60-1.

From reading old posts, Onpol seemed like a pretty nice guy, so I dunno whether he knew or not.

 

Yea, he had most of the stuff done by his shop, so they might have told him the wrong specs.

 

Shitty to hear man. But it explains why it spooled so fast compred to the t3/t04e i have on my car...

 

If you think that's slow, you should see the one I'm getting.

 

alot of people mess up the E and B cuz they dont know the differance.... its a common mistake especially if they bought it on ebay
