so being that something similar will probably happen again names will be changed
"teh dragon" was dropping off a "someone" at his house. now this particular "someone" we will call him paco for now, lives in a rather rough neighborhood. well dragon was talking to paco in his car and noticed there was a cop at the end of the road watching him. they finish the conversation and paco goes inside. dragon drives away and said cop turns on his car, turns headlights on and follows him.
dragon drives like a normal person, uses turnsignals, stops at lights etc. cop follows him for about 3 or 4 miles before he pulls him over. cop walks up to the window, dragon recognizes him as the same cop who pulled him over and gave him a warning 2 months ago in pacos neighborhood for having a burnt out turn signal, which in fact, wasnt even burned out in the first place.
now this next part is gonna sound shady, its understandable but realize after being beat up by the cops a few years back, dragon KNOWS to be respectable to police officers this is practically word for word of what happened(about 98% accurate just some different wording may have been stated but this is the general truth and if it went to court, this is what the cops camera would show)
"good evening officer" dragon states, with all of the interior lights on and car off like he always does
"license and registration, please remove the keys from the ignition and place them on the roof"
dragon complies
cop comes back about 5 minutes later and says
"step out of the vehicle"
"officer can i ask why? is there a problem with my paperwork? ive done nothing wrong"
"i need to search your vehicle"
"well officer i have a problem with that i know my rights and unless you either have a warrant or my permission you cant search my vehicle, what probable cause do you have?"
"do you want to go to jail, son?"
"no sir, but i also know you dont want the city to get sued for unlawful search, whats going on sir? whats the problem?"
"think your a smart guy do you? lets call the k9 unit and see what happens"
"sir, thats fine do what you have to do but please understand that unless the k9 has a warrant hes not entering my vehicle either"
"how about we just have your vehicle towed until we get a warrant"
"sir unless you state why im being detained im going to have to ask you to please call your supervisor and have him come down"
"well son we've had alot of questionable activity in that neighborhood lately and im going to get some answers on that activity, who was that you were talking to? why were you in that neighborhood?"
"im sorry but thats not really any part of your concern, im free to go anywhere i please"
"you were buying drugs werent you? thats a drug dealer wasnt it?"
"no sir, i dont do drugs, can you please call your commanding officer, your being awful hostile and to be honest your starting to scare me"
"you know what?" officer walks back to his vehicle, dragon gets on the phone calls his wife and tells her to be on alert and to listen in to whats happening in case he gets beat by a cop again
officer comes back tosses a piece of paper into the window, grabs keys off the roof, and tosses them at dragon
"get the f*ck out of here, ill be watching you" and walks away
dragon knowing the urgency of leaving, turns key on, turns turnsignal on, merges with traffic and leaves
cop follows dragon once again for a few miles
dragon then pulls into a parking lot and proceeds to go up and down the parking lot lanes a few minutes or so until cop is well frustrated and leaves like a bat out of hell power sliding into a shopping cart
dragon then pulls into a parking spot and looks at the piece of paper
its a ticket for a cracked windshield
WITH NO INFO ON IT
all it has is dragons name and address, the ordinance number of the broken windshield law, and thats IT
no vehicle info at all
no officers name
NOTHING
dragon then worried at the fact that the cop just probably wanted to prove he knew where he lived (which is funny cuz dragon no longer lives at the same address thats on his id) went to the nearest substation
dragon TRIED to file a report on what happened when the head officer on duty (no idea what rank) says that without a officers name, filing a report will get him no where.
head officer also says that the ticket that was received is in fact VOID now due to the fact that it has no vehicle info on it.
needless to say

That sucks.
I've been through stuff that's similar, then on most of the internets everyone freaks out if you're not balls deep on every single cop's hog for bending over backwards to serve you.

Ha. I've had the K9 unit through my vehicle twice in my life.Both times, the STATE TROOPER swore I was high and had drugs in the car. I've never smoked pot a day in my life, but figured it was easier to just let them do what they had to so I could go home.

Its always the sheriff's office when they annoy me. Two stories. (for the most part I support cops, just not the power-to-the-head a**holes)
Elantra was BRAND new, like less than 300 miles on the odo. Nothing was in the car except the paperwork for the car and the spare/jack. Me and a friend went cruzing to put some gentle miles on it to break it in right. Going down I-10 doing the freaking speed limit, in the right hand lane, etc. I see a truck start moving on the shoulder so I turn my blinker on and move over. No bullshit here, this was a break the car in. Ill admitt if im speeding and that is well, alot. Anyway, I pass the truck and see the county name all over it. I move back over to the right.
He comes screaming up on my ass end. I tell my friend we are about to get pulled over and two seconds later the lights come on. I get pulled over for an hour and a half. Back up is called out. I was called a liar and was told that my friend stuffed something under the seat as we pulled over. After an hour and 15 min I tell him to search the damn car. After the search he tells me I can't have my temp plate in the back window and to have a good night. The next day, i see a brand new county car with a freaking temp plate in the back window. (we have a dealership that supplies a sh*t ton of cop cars so it may have been them driving it and not the cops)
The other time was when I was working on copiers. I just left a Federal Prison and was called to the county jail to work on there machine in book in. They took my id when I went into the Fed and I forgot to get it back from the control room before I left. To get to book in I had to go past a shack with a sheriffs officer in it. I apologize for not having my DL and tell them I can go get it if that is a problem, but hand them my military ID to prove who I am. It is thrown, no joke or exaggeration here, back in my face. The officer then tells me "I dont want to see that crap here" or something along those lines.
I drive through there grass and go park in front of the admin building. I tell our contract specialist about what just happened, who then brings me to their captain. He apologizes then has the dipshit in the shack do the same. That one has a little better ending but wtf. No reason to be like that at all.
