Official Hyundai Sunday 2008 Thread
Way to do my job for me TC. But you forgot one part. That reference is from here http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/dm.../d2-1-1-eng.pdf Page 5, Paragraph 2. Here is the full excerpt, pay attention to the last part after the exemptions.
Personal baggage may include up to 1.14 litres of
spirits or 1.5 litres of wine or 1.14 litres of wine and spirits
or 8.5 litres (24 × 355 ml bottles or tins) of beer or ale,
200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 200 g of manufactured tobacco,
and 200 tobacco sticks. For a visit of short duration, these
quantities may be limited to amounts which are appropriate
in respect of the nature, purpose, and duration of the visit.
And who had questions about the passport requirements? When in doubt, ask the Customs Officer.

^lol. Thanks. You gonna be there? I wanna see what you've done with the Santa Fe since the last time I saw it. You had some crazy plans for it!
So I just received confirmation over at torontohyundaiclub.com that Garage16 will be there. With this:

Sweet! I'll add you to maybes.
BTW, don't worry if your car isn't show ready. My car is 10 different shades of gray and has cracks and scratches all over it. This isn't an upity car show, it's a casual meet and greet.

Well, the thing with the dealers is, yes, we used to have the show at dealerships, but if I remember correctly, they stopped hosting us because it didn't turn a profit for them. So, I don't know if any dealerships in the area would be interested in hosting us. Probably not.
Hutchs is great because it's a very popular cruise destination and meeting spot for all sorts of car enthusiasts. You always see cool cars there, new and old. And the management doesn't mind us having it there since everyone always grabs a bite to eat. It's not a barbeque, but their food is awesome. They have burgers, fish, hot dogs, ice cream, awesome fries, typical burger joint type food, and its cheap too.
As for the cruise, we're still open as to where it's gonna be. I suggested Hess Village because the drive there is nice, and its a really cool area in downtown Hamilton with bars and patios. Plus, it's not too far from Hutchs. But again, Im open to suggestions. Niagara Falls would be awesome for the cruise, but it's still about a 40 min drive from Hutch's so I doubt many people would wanna drive that far.
