Porn...would you ever do it?
So i read an article the other day that said due to the bad economy, more and more girls are turning to do porn. They said its much easier for a girl to get paid to have sex on film, than it is for a guy. Understandable, I guess considering I'm sure stats show that guys watch it more than women and guys are not watching it for the men...unless...well ya know.... gayfight2.gif
Anyway, so after reading the article, it made me think....if times got so bad and this was the ONLY work you could find, would any of you do porn? I'm sure guys will chime in and probably say yes, but what about the women? And to the women, if you had to choose between porn or stripping...which would you do? I'm guessing more would say stripping.
This also leads me to the next question....if you received an offer to do porn, how much money would it take to get you to do the deed on camera?
Discuss....

Haha, I considered a career in porn for a while. By career I mean producing mostly, although cost of a cameraman vs. an actor would have determined whether I appeared on screen. I'm sure I would have sometimes at least.
If I was working for someone else and not using it as a method to retire early I would probably charge $500/day if it was straight cash, but I would rather take a share of the profits.

Well, I have a few friends who work in that industry behind the cameras. Unless you've got some unusual talent (hung like a horse, or a certain "Peter North" talent), there's very little money in it for straight male actors. All of the money for male actors is in gay porn. Females on the other hand make money two ways. You either need to be super hot or willing to do some pretty disgusting stuff. There's money in it for even average looking women, but you'll never get rich as an actress. Most of the women in the porn industry that have money got it by transitioning from in front of the camera to behind it as producers.

I would have thought that the guys get paid more since there are fewer guys that are suited for something like this.
Only way I would even consider it is if I was single and if I already tried robbing and bank and that didn't work out. (And not in jail for attempted robbery haha.)

i wouldn't enter the industry but i'd be totally down with amateur stuff like tube sites. i don't know how much money can be made it that but i would do it just for the fun rather than the cash. i'm talking propping a handicam on a tripod and uploading it online kind of thing....
Funny that you bring up the "what's your price" aspect visionz, because no matter what anyone says, everyone has their price haha
