Nah Im just kidding.. its just a stereotype i had in the Navy. Just because Im Asian.. people would look at me and ask me what there tattoo saids AFTER they got the tattoo. Sadly enough, some of my Asian friends say that alot of Tattoo's with Asian characters were wrong , upside down or backwards.
mmm, i'm chinese. and i know japanese...
a bunch of japanese is kanji, which is from the times that chinese gave the japanese a written language. therefore when japanese refer to kanji, they are referring to the words in their language that use teh chinese character.

I'm pretty sure that the one I have that is supposed to say love, doesn't or at least I have yet to find a similar symbol that stands for love that matches mine exactly. That's the 1st tatt I ever got and I would never go back to that shop anyway. So as far as I care it stands for that for me and that's all that counts. I'm pretty sure the rest are correct though becuase I actually did research from several different places before I got them. I do have more planned, but not for awhile. My next will probably be covering one of my shoulders.
Thanks for the comments on the shark.

Well I finally got a tattoo last Saturday. I turned 18 last tuesday (May 2) and I decided to get something that
no one else has so I searched the Internet for a couple days. Im a fan of the new art that they put on viny
toys and thing like that style, I found an artist named Brandt Peters, I really liked his work so I decided to
get one put on my forearm...
Its different, I thought It was really cool.

Thought I'd add to the thread. Got another one last week. It's the beginning of a wrist to elbow sleeve. After I get the black done all over, I'll hit it up with color. As far as the fish thing goes, I drew it years ago before I bought the tib, so it isn't intentionally a shark or cuda, but it's funny it worked out that way!
