A celebrity fad I can get behind
Just another way for them to show off! Latest craze 'celebrity body surfing' sees celebs tweet photos of their legs and torsos
They love to post pictures of their children and keep followers up to date with their schedule, but now celebrities have taken to doing something more revealing on Twitter.
'Celebrity body surfing' is the latest craze to sweep the internet and involves various famous faces sharing photos of their bare legs and torsos.
It is debatable whether or not the photos are being taken to show off their bodies, or simply if it is just another way for the celebrities to keep their fans updated and interested but either way it's a trend that's catching on.
Supermodel Heidi Klum was the latest celebrity to get in on the act and tweeted a photo of herself sunbathing on a beach yesterday.
Accompanied with the caption 'Gorgeous day,' Heidi obviously thought it would be more appealing to take a photo of her enviable body rather than her surroundings.
Showing off her flat stomach in a leopard-print two-piece, the blonde star also made sure her legs were in the shot too.
But if she thinks her photo is the sexiest tweet of all then she's got some serious competition.
The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers tweeted a very similar image while on holiday in Las Vegas last month.
Feeling the need to mention that she was 'getting nice and brown,' the reality TV star showed off her trim figure in multi-coloured bottoms and a jewelled bandeau top.
But not all the stars are as body confident as when Kelly Osbourne treated fans to a photo of herself sunbathing, she seemed to have cropped some of her body out.
Miranda, on the other hand, posted her leggy picture back in October last year and used the perfect excuse of showing off a new pair of shoes.
However, some celebrities feel that showing a bit of leg just isn't enough and America's Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry and glamour model Coco Austin went all the way with their body surfing pictures.
