Default Yaya engine bushings?

I do a lot of drag racing, and I understand that they should help with traction, but do I really need them with 140whp?

Whoever has them, how beneficial they were? And how hard was the installation?

ive got front and rear, they are a big difference. i like them alot. definately a good investment..... they also help to keep the drivetrain lined up allowing for better shifting....

I also have the front and rear ones. You do feel a decent amount of vibration through the pedals but not much in the car itself. The install is pretty basic. You just need a good cutter or a press to get the old ones out. The new ones once lubbed and with some elbow grease you can push in the mounts.

It should be standable.... I really don't think the rear would help any @ 140whp though... once you get that 90 shot it'll be a blessing however. ;P

Well the engine mounts are easy to do by yourself. The suspension bushings however need to be pressed out and then the new ones pressed it. Pretty expensive I would imagine to get someone to do. If you have the full strut bars, sway bars, and performance shocks and struts you should be very happy with it. I really wouldnt worry too much about the suspension bushings unless you have some go bad.

Under the center of the car there is a cross member that runs from front to rear. There are two bolts on each side and one through the center of each mount that need to be removed. NO weight is supported on this beam. It is completly for front to back motion of the engine. Once the cross member is out with the two mounts still attached you need to use a thin saw and cut through the metal ing on the old mount. MAKE SURE not to damage the outer ring of the mount support. Once you have banged the old mount out of there you need to use the grease uipplied and lub the hell out of the new mount. Then with a bit of force and a little leverage the new mount will slide in. The new mount has a lip on each side of the mount. This will keep it from popping out once you have gotten it in. Once you do this to both mounts reinstall the beam. If you have or know someone with a press the old mounts can be pressed out of the mount. I was able to disassemble, cut out, and reassemble this in about 45 minutes.

no weight is supported on the crossmember? how is that so when we have 3 motor mounts and you remove 2 whats holding the engine up?
