Hey guys, I'm looking for a set of spacers for my tib.

I found these ones:

will these 20mm spacers work as it is, without chenging the studs for longer ones?
If I do need to change for longer ones, how can it be done? where to get longer ones?

Thanks, Sasha.

Those will require longer studs. You can purchase longer studs from ARP.

What is the max spacer i can use on stock studs?

Is it a big deal changing studs?

How do I ask for the needed studs? or they have them listed as tib studs?

Thanks for your prompt replies, Sasha.

i wouldn't go with more then 7mm without changing the studs
and even at 7mm there's not much studs left to tread on

for longuer studs either look on arp and check specs (someone lsioted a few parts number here already
or go to a local part store and look in the catalog be sure to match the knurled end also

Changing studs is easy cake. Press in, press on. I swapped to ARP 2.75" studs but now im on a 1.5mm pass instead of stock 1.25mm.

Also the knurl diameter was a tad bigger diameter so I had to drill out the holes on the hub bigger. I also got the knurl twice the length so that I can press the spacer on the knurl as well. Mind you my spacers were made by myself, so I made them custom to exactly what I wanted. Search for my build thread pics are there.

when i was looking into doing this, the longer studs i believe were for a corvette, so they used a different thread size. i never did get the spacers on though, because i didnt order the studs, and the lug nuts i got wouldnt fit the dia of my wheels (needed tuner lugs)

studs are real easy to take out/install though, just like tanc said.. pound em out, press em in. if you get an open ended lug, they are even easier to pull em in (if you don't have a longer knurl)

i would recommend the longer knurl like on tancs.

i still have my spacers, custom made for a tib, but they are wider than you would want they, but they could easily be cut down on a lathe.
