could someone please direct me to a post that has already covered if there is any other generation tib or vehicle that has a suspension better then the RD that is a direct bolt in for it

Well since they basically used the same suspension, from the rd1 - rd2 yah you can switch those out, but you would just be switchin out the same parts....
What do you want?
Full coilovers from a gk to fit on an rd?
Dont think that would work or any one has done it.
The only tibs that you can really BOLT ON from one to another are the rd1s 96-99 and the rd2s 00-01.
There are quite a few aftermarket options though. Wheelz,Tires, and suspension, section on the site
Also NOT to be RUDE but try searching before making threads.....
I know your new but people are gonna start getting mad if you ask general questions without searching first.
Just a starter-- Eibach makes nice set springs and if you really wanna shell out some green, kspec has nice set of coilovers.
Personally id just take some Eibach lowering springs and maby some new oem struts.

Keep in mind that OEM struts are made to extend and "travel" at OEM ride height. By lowering a car on OEM struts, you've reduced the effective travel of the strut, and the resting height of the car will put the strut much further into the "rebound" area than normal.
Thus, lowered cars with OEM struts have a bad habit of having a very choppy ride; the further you lower it, the worse it gets. You also become less able to take bigger bumps in the road without hitting the bumpstop in the strut, which is both jarring and generally bad for the life of the strut.
If you're considering lowering the car and maintaining good ride quality, either look into a full coilover set, or else buy a set of matched springs and struts. They're going to be more expensive, but they will ride better, last longer, and overall have better handling characteristics in 'the real world' where bumps and road surface imperfections will come into play.
