Default will these fit?

Gary,
Yes they will fit on your Tiburon, that is a pretty common size and offset for people who are upgrading thier rims. RD Tiburons do use that bolt pattern.
17x7.0
Bolt Pattern 4x4.50 (114.3) mm
Off-Set +42mm

An ideal tire size would be 205/40/17 , that size would be the same diameter as your stock wheel, so your speedo would be almost exact.

As for looking good on your car, It all depends on what colour your car is. IMO white rims look great on red, blue, and sometimes black cars. The rims look nice, Roja is a good name.

Yeah, he is right they will fit and I think they would look fine on a Lambo Orange car. Now here is the funny part, the seller says they won't fit....there is a link "Click Here for Fitting Chart" on the sale page that he created. You click on that and it takes you to a page that says Tiburon 1997-2003 14"-17" Only.

Yeah, I do think they would look killer on an orange car. I also clicked the fitment chart on the guys web site. It says it will fit, and I know they will fit, because my rims are also 17x7 with 42 offset.

I got 215/40/17 tires just so I would have a little extra tire. If you're worried about bending a rim, I'd go up to 45 series on 205 tires... but my wheels have been through hell and haven't had any problems with my soft Kumho tires.

For some reason, folks are never sure of what the Hyundai runs rim wise. Maybe it is because so few people tune them compared to the japanese makes. I know when I bought my Enkeis, I was looking at a different but similar set of rims (I forget the make) and when I called the company up to order them.. they were insistant the Tib ran a 4x100mm set up. Needless to say, I am VERY happy with my Enkeis.. and even happier I did not do business with those idiots.
