Will 2000 Tib springs fit a 2003 Tib???

Default Will 2000 Tib springs fit a 2003 Tib???

I got an extra set of B&G springs just sitting around and my bro wants to put them in his 2003 tibby. Will it fit ???????

They will probably fit, but the 2003 is 400lbs heavier than the gen1 and gen2. I doubt it would give a good ride.

The 03 Tib has a tapered rear spring which means the bottom is a larger diameter than the top. The oder Tib has a the same diameter top and bottom. Also on the front there is a different upper mount design. The 03 Tib even uses a different front upper mount than the 01-03 Elantra. And finally, like Random said, the new car is so much heavier than the old one that I would stick with ones designed for it.
