you gotta be kidding me! Having driven only once in Dallas, I guess it's not a "true" sampling, but damn, those roads were AWFUL!!!

Only time I've ever been on a flat, level stretch of freeway, then had a 2 foot bump (up) for no apparent reason! Coming from Minnesota, i was used to potholes (down), but not a JUMP! (didn't see it and took it at about 75....went airborne for a few feet!) I ran into about 4 or 5 of those damn things. What are they? Freeway speed bumps?

The comment was partially tongue-in-cheek... But I do enjoy most of Dallas driving. I'm not sure where these "highway speed bumps" you're talking about are...do you remember where in the metroplex this was? Dallas highways tend to be pretty well maintained, but many of the interchanges are outdated. This makes things exciting, but also HORRENDOUS during rush-hour.

If you were homesick for potholes, you should have headed west into Irving or Fort Worth...

I had Nittos on my Tib when I first got my Konig Rated R's put on, two of them went flat in the first two days I had them and I didn't run over anything. The guys at Discount Tire checked them out and they were faulty. I switched to the Kumho Ecsta Supras and I have had no problems. I smoke those things like a pack of Malboros and they still look and handle the day I got them. If you aren't gonna get Kumho's, get yokohama's, they are good too. I have those on my Grand AM SE and those handle real good too.
