Found this list earlier this week while searching for the weight of the wheels my new 2001 Tibby came with:

Pretty extensive list if I do say so myself. My new Tibby came with some Tenzo R Sinko wheels in silver which I must say do look awesome given that my car is also silver, but... they do weigh about 21lbs each without tires which royally sucks.

 

I can get some cheap russian forged rims:

the lightest 14" -> 14x5.5" - 4.6 kg = 10.14 lbs

the lightest 15" -> 15x6" - 5 kg = 11.02 lbs

17x7.5" - 6.9 kg = 15.21 lbs

I might have to do something about that. 21lbs is just IMO too much unsprung weight for what I want to do which is mostly 1/4 mile dragging and the occasional weekend stint at my local SOLO1 / SOLO2 circuit.

 

Hm, didnt have my rims on there. When i ordered them the weight said 17.5lbs each but I weighed them at home and they ended up being 15 lbs each..not quite sure. But pretty light for 17's.

 

oooh, i just started liking my vx-8's even more (thanks for the link redz) on there it says they are only 17lbs. I knew they felt light but I wasn't sure how light.
