Ok the big question is. I deleated the post but Ill re write it so that ppl have an idea of WTF is going on with this thread LOL.

rd1tib is running a 2.25" drop with 10mm spacers and 205/45/16 and his rubs a bit on sharp turns.

My question is will 215/40/16 rub as much, more, or less than his. Keep in mind the smaller sidewall and no 10mm spacers.

My 205/45/16....... 10mm spacers....groundcontrol coilovers with 2.25+ drop.....stock struts .... rub when i turn sharp and hit a bump. Other than that i dont rub.

225-40-16 is perfect for our speedo but iono if they would rub or not.. that would be sick since there would be hella rubber to grip the road.

what are you dropping with? he still has to use the ginormous strut body & perch for the stock struts. the diameter of the spring/strut body on my ksports is probably half as much as stock, which helps with rubbing.

Well even with the same setup as him but minus the spacers and the 45 sidewall on stock struts will they rub?

And rd1tib how long do you have before you blow those stock struts lol ?

My buddy is running 215/40/16 with a 1 .5" drop and he was looking into something like this. He wouldnt need springs if he went with this setup correct?

I will be running on kspec coilovers with 215/40/16 and was curious if it will rub with a 2.5" drop and if his will rub with stock struts and the sleeves.

the offset of the rims are going to have a big part in the outcome as well
