so I tested out my new clutch and flywheel set up today and when I shift from first to second I hear a clunk and it feels like the wheels are hopping. I know that its somewhat normal, but if I lower my suspension will it fix it?

now I have a wierd knocking noise comming from ( I think ) the left front wheel, every time I accelerate in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. and it does it no matter if im going straight or turning, but only when I press the gas down like halfways so that the car somewhat jerks foward.

when looking through the forums and google, I think it is the cv joint. but im not sure any help anyone?

well i tried to check the cv joints and the boots are not ripped and there is no oil leaking from them. so I tried seeing if it made the same noise in reverse and it didn't, but the weird thing is the noise went away until I gave it one hard shift and then returned. the noise went away again when I tried to test it in reverse again. the car also slightly veers to the left when I let the steering wheel go. i dont know what to do, any help anyone?

Sounds like you may have a bad motor or tranny mount and it could even be a bad suspension bushing, everytime you bang a gear they take alot of stress and move qutie a bit so if one is weak it will cause the mount or bushing to bottom out causing a bang, the whell hop is normal for our cars and even worse when it is lowered.

I actually have a similar problem with my tib except its all around and only when I hit pot holes and such. I believe it may be due to dry joints and a combination of suspension bushings. Only problem is I havnt had the time to drill in greese fittings nor put the tib up on stands and take a looksey. Ill let ya know what If I can find the time to get to work on her.
