Dmitry, little something about tire physics. You can optimise the tread by running a slightly wider rim that needed. If say you are running a 7 inch rim with a 205 section tire.. by moving up to a 7.5, you "Stretch" the tire some. This flattens out the tread, keeps it from rolling under in a hard corner, and makes the sidewall even stiffer.

it unfortunatly looks a little odd and the rubber does not protect the rim at all from kerbs and such.

How decent is the price? I know Volks are very expensive. I'd wait to find wheels that have the same width but that's just my 2cents.

$1200+ shipping with tires, mint condition no dents or scratches. I talked to the guy today, he said he sold em two days ago to a guy with a honda (very few hondas run 4x114.3) and he'd let me know if the guy he sold em to wanted his money back . 17" forged volk wheels without tires would run around $2k or more new. I'm thinking I may need to research how to do a 5 lug conversion

I didn't think that 4X114.3 was all that rare a pattern.

you want to talk rare? My italian cars use 4X98. Only fiat, lancia, and maserati used that pattern.

Russian car LADA (or VAZ) use this patern 4x98 and there are a lot of forged wheels with that patern, I think price for 14" is about $500 for set. Weight is 4.6-5.1 kg (10-11 lbs)

well, considering that the Lada is essentially a fiat (fiat sold them the rights and tooling to build the 124 sedan) I am not surprised the bolt pattern is the same.
