Default What do unpainted rims look like?

If you were take rims that were painted or powdercoated a certain color from the manufacturer, and sand blast them....what underneath the paint? Will the rims have a shiny metal appearance, or something else?

That depends on the material and the surface prep for painting. Pretty much all alloy or steel wheels would look like a sanded metal sort of dull finish if you stripped the paint off. They could be polished to a decent shine for the most part though.

Dunno. I plan to turn mine white at some point. Ill post pics when I strip the silver off what I have now.
