vibrating when braking
I have a problem. When I run at 70 mph (and more) and press brakes steering wheel starts to shake left-right.
14,000 miles ago I changed rotors, pads and bearings (thanks to my captive rotors mad.gif ). I'm afraid I overheated rotors and cool them in puddle eyeroll.gif
What do you guys think about it?

Generally, when things start shaking, there is something wrong with the wheel/tire itself, not the suspension.
- Are tires inflated to proper PSI?
- Are tires in good shape? Even wear, good amount of tread left.
- Was the wheel/tire properly balanced on a machine?
- Did you bend a rim?
Since you just replaced everything, I would think its still in decent shape.

Yes proper PSI over all 4 wheels
Tires are new (only 12,000 miles on it)
Wheels were balanced twice (before and after that happened) but didn't help.
Rims are ok.
Vibration is noticable only when applying brake (even slightly)
has the car been sitting for awhile? you may just need to brake hard a few times to get some rust off the rotors. if your brake pedal is still pulsating while breaking, then you'll need to have your rotors resurfaced (or buy new ones if they are not within min. spec).
since you mention that you dont notice this until you start breaking, i'd say your balance and tire pressure is fine.

Does this happen when you brake hard to come to a quick stop, or when you start to slow down?
If it for both situations then the rotors are definitely warped. Sometimes happens with the wrong rotor/pad combination. OEM rotors with non-OEM pads are notorious for this. I have this problem now.

I think both, but it's noticeble when going 80> mph and slowing down.

How new are the pads? I know that sometimes new pads will do this until they are broken in so that all of the imperfections in the pads are gone.
Rotors and pads were changed 12,500 miles ago

Car is usually used every day, sometimes 2-3 days not used. During the day I brake hard a few times.
BTW what symptoms are for bad bearings?
growling noise, hopefully you're not wabbling. lift the car up and pull the wheel from side to side, turn it a little, keep checking. do this for all 4. if there's any play it could be the bearings or a ball joint.
