Untraditional rim colors
I was wondering what HA thought about people using untraditional colors for their rims. I think certain color combos (rim and car) look good, while others look really bad. What does everyone here think?

I Hate it. Looks like a 16 year old's car every time. Many times it's crappy spray paint with overspray.
I saw a BMW 335i yesterday with red wheels. I did a double take, because I immediately thought it was a Honda (due to the wheels). I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
On a side note... the wheels in the first picture are very very similar to what I'm looking for, except silver with a polished lip.

Yeah...she took off and stopped posting because a couple of people said they didnt care for her rims. She took it personally, and that was the end of that.
Her rims are bronze now...they're not turquoise anymore.

She's on my facebook, has a lot of Honda friends it appears. Maybe that's why she went turquoise. I didn't realize it affected her that much to make her stop posting. Imagine if I stopped posting for the catfish/snowplow comments lol

I think it can look great when matched up to the car properly. That being said, 99% of the time it sucks sweaty donkey balls.
Sara hangs out with the hellaflush crowd. Leave good taste at the door. Enough said. Lol.
However, her new bronze wheels look good and fit the car a lot better and probably won't bust apart like the teal ones did after powdercoating.
