Default Uh, dumb question about brake pads

The Raybestos pads I want from Advance Auto have to be ordered online.

Is the box all four pads, just two pads, or what?

I can't tell from the website and the guy at the actual store was less than helpful (they don't keep the Raybestos in stock, so I couldn't see it directly).

Also, do I need a shim kit, or will just the replacement pads do fine?

thanks in advance,
ac

box is usually all 4 pads and should include any necessary shims.
