Traction
Does lowering a car increase traction off the line? I have always heard that if you want good traction then you need good tires or an LSD so I’m wondering how much springs or coil overs have an effect of it.

They help limit wheel hop if that's an issue. Other than that, you can change weight transfer significantly through using new spring and strut damping rates.
