Default tires tires tires...

i have a love hate relationship with the fact that i sell tires

i get em for cheap

but it also makes me so ridiculously picky when it comes time for them on my own car...

so

heres what it comes down to

maxxis ma-z4

toyo t1r

kumho ast

falken 912

i think the toyo is at the bottom of the list at this point due to the fact that i cant be changing tires every 12k miles

the falken while it will last longer, will also lose traction the fastest of them all

any advice? this is goin on my turbo car

the maxxis is a v rated tire where the kumho is a h...so that will make a difference in handling

The only one I would be likely to consider out of that list is the Toyo T1R. It would be towards the bottom of my list too though. smile.gif

Since you're listing all seasons and performance tires together, I don't even know what you're looking for. tongue.gif

it's a tough choice! i'm just as confused as you are. i'd say go for traction because you don't want to slip up. i have V-rated MX's in the rear and my rear will slide out easily as i found out the hard way.

well i did the most logical choice

i made my tire suppliers deliver all of them lol

after touching, feeling, probing, jumping on, stepping on, and smelling i decided on the maxxis tires

they have a pretty stiff sidewall, plenty of biting edges, and a solid center stripe (makes it so i dont have to rotate as often lol)
