Got 17" with 195/40/R17 pirelle nero zero tires

got a rd2, and I'm alone in the car at most of the times.

got them at 2.4 (2.5) bar I think. Is this good ? or should it be more like 2.6 ?

I have 205/50 R16 tires and use 2.2 bar all around.

I tried different pressures and choose 2.2 bar.
with higher pressure (2.4) ride becomes rough, with lower (2.0) handlign/cornering becomes worse.

Tires with a 40 offset (is it called offset) are flatter then the 50, so tire pressure must be higher. If you got 2.2 probably 2.4 would be apropiate, I think

You should have gotten 205/40/17, but with your setup I say 32-35psi.

I know what psi what bar is, and I know I should buy 205/40 better yet get 215 maybe 225
but these tires came with the rims and one new tire would cost me around $180. And so I need four because I'm not driving a bike.

then again I'm currently looking for a GK so I'm not planning on doing anything major at the moment.

Stay with what I told you. It will be gripping good and won't be too rough.
