Ok real quick question. I am looking for some cheap rubber, I have a guy who has some. But its 205-55-16 Wich will work on my rims but will I clear rubbing. I know the car is lowered 1.5" so I don't know if this will work. And won't be able to use the tires if they don't fit.

250? you mean 205, right? It might be a little tall.. but I doubt it will rub (badly) I have 205/45/16s on my car at stock ride height.. I have plenty of room to absorb another 10 mm or so of sidewall height. With your car being lowered... I cannot say for certain. In all honesty, I would pass and get the correct size.

250, definately not.

205, maybe, but im thinking you would definately rub at least a little with the higher profile.

whats the rim offset?

Tehehe I meant 205. The ofset in the rim is 38. I normaly wouldn't get such a large sidewall but I am desperat for cheap tires.

yep. got them on my car now, and they are awesome. not to sure about treadwear, only had them on about 800 miles, but all the reviews ive read have been good. it was a tire introduced at SEMA, specifically designed for "tuners" apparently. it gets the job done, and at a great price.

She is a little tall, but it should work. It's not the tire size I'll be worried about, but its the offset. YOU'LL RUB with +38 AND that tire size

Alright, I figure I'll add on here instead of starting up a new thread. I see that it's going to be a bit bigger, but I'm wondering if I'll have rubbing issues with a 205/50-16?
