You know, it could be your tires are worn down/underpressured, or you don't have hubcentric rings on your car. Or your allignment is off. Best to check the free stuff before you go paying for everything...
But yep, its usually around $12 a wheel.

So your tires are over-inflated. That's too high for regular street driving. 30 to 32 psi is plenty for the street.

check your alignment as well.

...Or your allignment is off..
why do people believe that an alignment will fix a vibration problem??
an out-of alignment car causes 1 of 2 (or both) things. the car pulls left or right. or you're getting crap for tire wear. you can't line up a car and have a vibration miraculously go away.
as far as price of balance, depends on the store. my old employer (sears) charged $10.99 - $14.99 (depending on the size of the tire)
and if your "humming" is at all speeds, you have a bearing issue

ok hears the update, the Summers told me today that the front 2 tires are badly woren out on the inside. which doesnt make sense cuz sears told me my alignment was fine, but that IS the reason i switched to Summers. so i have new tires coming tomorrow, damn our tire for being so rare. it should fix the traction issues i was having earlier as well as the vibration and road noise.

The tires are worn out in the centre due to over-inflation. When the car is out of alignment you will get cupping and feathering on the tire tread. By over-inflating the tires the car is riding on the centre part of the tread resulting in extreme wear in the centre only as well as reduced grip.

Yep... 32PSI always on tires. 40PSI is too high, and is why its worn.
Extreme mis-allignment can cause vibration, because its badly alligned and puts stress on the wheels themselves. Thats not a problem caused from running around and it eventually getting misalligned, that happens more often than not if you hit a curb going pretty fast and knock it way out of allignment.
Stop buying those damned Michelin XGV4s... they are garbage and overpriced. You could've bought a nice, good tire for $20 less a tire. And don't buy the stock size either... 195s are hard to find... I would've bought 205s. Much more cheap and common.
