kumho SPT
that really weird, I seriously couldn't find them earlier, I must have had stores turned off or something... Earlier I was getting 30 results now I'm getting several hundred! Thanks for pointing that out.
I think I'm going to go with the spt's they seem to be kinda a higher tread rated replacement on the ecsta supra's which apparently aren't being made anymore. This past winter when I was doing research I picked them out but since I wasn't finding them on ebay I tossed em out! I was just looking on tirerack and I guess they are just a step down from the mx which has a much lower life and definently isn't on ebay for my car.

In my experience Kumho's always wear too fast. I've had 2 sets of Kumho's, and will never buy another. I've had Sumimotos, the tread wear is decent, but they aren't very grippy, and not good in rain or snow (and they were an all season tread).
Right now I've got 2 Michelins on in the front that I got a STEAL on at Sam's Club, $55 each, but they only had 2 in stock and wouldn't give me the same price if they ordered in the other 2. Those tires are awesome, still lots of tread left, and nice and grippy.
As soon as I have a day to put my fender on, I'm buying some rims (fender is dented right now and 17s would rub, I need a weekend where it doesn't rain please..), and the next tire I'm going to try is the Nexen. You're right, they are a Korean tire like Kumho, but I've yet to find a bad review, I've probably read over 50.

I have the General Exclaim UHP and absolutely love them! Huge tread, great sound, hold the road like they're superglued, great tire.
Or the BF Goodrich Traction T/A.

i have the Zri tires. they have been holding up well. i got them on at the end of may 2005 and there is still a little bit of tread left. they have definitely faced a couple burnouts and many hard turns, never an autocross though. i've been pleased with the performance as well for how cheap they are.
easy to find on ebay as well...

BFG g-force sports. Hands down one of my favorite tires. I got close to 20k out of them and I never even rotated them! Great ride and good grip. I recommend them to all my customers at work and everyone who gets them loves them as well. If not those, maybe think about the hankook rs-2s
