is there an easy way to take your wheel off with a body kit?

Default is there an easy way to take your wheel off with a body kit?

i need to paint my calipers and possibly mess with some braking parts, but i havent found a jack recently that will fit under my body kit. are there jacks specially made for this? any ideas?

what i do is i drive up on a 2x4 block and then jack it up and if 1 isn't enough put 2 down just make sure the top one is shorter so it has to step up... mine looks like...

then i just screwed the top one into the bottom one so it cant move

although i'm sure u could buy a low profile jack but this is just a cheaper method i think

ill have to use about 8 or 10 real little steps then... lol. i dont think u understand... when i only had my car lowered, i could take the cup off of the jack and it worked ok, but now that i have a kit, my car is about an inch and a half off the ground. i dont know what will fit under it. anyone know where to get a special jack?

They do make special jacks for lowered cars, but they are hella expensive ($250+).

Drive your car up onto 2x4's. Stack 2 or 3 on top of eachother staggered into "steps" to get the lift you need to get the jack under your car. (also do 2 2x4's wide)

You can also have a friend "lift" the car by pressing on the top of the car or lifting on the fender to get an extra 1" of room to slide the jack under.

when i had the veilside kit installed i had room to put the blocks under the tires i just put it rite at the tire where it was pretty much behing the front bumper...theres room

i can use my stock jack with my MPS kit... i cant use a scissor floor jack anymore so its a PITA to change tires but hey... sometimes you gotta deal with it
