I think you can get bushing kits from K-Spec. Or do you just mean heavy-duty brackets?

the sway bar bushings go on the bracket that holds the bar to the frame. he means endlinks.

the only ones ive been able to find are energy suspension ones, but they WILL NOT work. the end of our bars are not parallel with the ground. what you can do though is measure them and try to find similiarly sized ones with poly bushings for another car. i took down the measurements, but i lost them somewhere. just make sure you get ones where the bracket on the end of the sway bar is facing you, ie perpendicular to the ground.

i wish i would have found a solution, but i just stopped caring. 02.gif

Do you think they would really make a difference in performance? I think with the sway bar itself (aftermarket I mean) and the poly bushings it's enough... unless you are going full race on the suspension. As there are no easy choices, I would think the price/benefit would not be possitive.

They are the two little pieces (like con rods) that attach the bar to the body.

err, kinda.

they are the small rods on either side of the endlink that connect the sway bar to the suspension, whether it be to the actual strut, knuckle, or even the control arms sometimes.

our endlinks have a ball joint on each end of them, one attaches to the sway bar, the other to the suspension component mentioned above. the energy suspension endlinks are pretty much just a bolt with a spacer in the middle. the spacer seperates a poly bushing sandwhich almost, two washers with two bushings in the middle. a nut is on the end to keep them together.

thats the problem though, the parts that you bolt to on the energy suspension endlinks are on a totally different plane then ours. most of the other stock ones ive seen are like ours as well, which is weird.

What do end-links look like?

Partial Part # 55530A

Ours are I believe 55530-27500

And no I have not found any aftermarket ones yet, however, I don't think they'd make any difference. You don't want too much stress on the links.

^ Oh Ok! Sorry, I'm stupid sad.gif

1997tibby, have you already got good aftermarket swaybars, brackets & bushings? Because if you do, I fail to see how these endlinks would make that much more of a noticeable difference to your handling.

I have a 20mm rear sway-bar with heavy-duty brackets & good polyurethane bushings & the handling is pretty awesome fing02.gif

Sorry to bring this back to life but if you're still after aftermarket endlinks, apparently the Whiteline adjustable rear sway-bar comes with better endlinks.
