The GR-2 are about 10% stiffer than stock struts; there was a nice comparison somewhere, but can't find it right now. It IS a nice upgrade to OEM struts, that's for sure.

As for the Koni... they are adjustable. At the stiffest setting, they are pretty stiff; but at the lowest setting, they feel near OEM.

^^^
I didn't know Konis could be adjusted that much, I thought even in the softest setting they were too hard... nice to know that though.

I remember having read on HA.com about the comparisson between GR-2 and OEM, but I think the info was taken from HP.com and it was an Accent tuner who did it, a guy by the name Randy with a Yellow Accent maybe?
However, the thing was they are around 10% stiffer in compression ratio, BUT they are like 100% stiffer in rebound or expansion ratio, and I think THAT is the great improvement over OEM's it must be possible because oil shocks don't "react" as crisp as gas shocks... I think.

I am still running stock with better rims and tyres. I can still outhandle most of the "tuners" around here and my car is quite rotatable with both the throttle and the brake.

That will be changing soon though.

I have the T&P Gold Coilovers from kspec with custom springs rates and dampening rate. Along with them I have there front, rear, and center stress bars. Also using 215/40/17 Toyo Proxes T1-R for rubber. Car handles great.

Eibach pro kit plus: sttruts, springs, sway bars.
front and rear strut bars
Yaya bushing kit

My old suspension was on its last legs, i had 125k on the original sturts. I think the car got so beat up with the old suspension now that I put hte new stuff in, everything creaks and rattle. The tib is showing signs of age. Which sucks, considering all the time and effort the bushing kit took. (this is more than average eurethane bushing creaking)

Though, she does handle great. I wish I could find a stiffer set of stabilizer links, I'd replace mine in a heartbeat. anyone know of any?
