These questions might have been covered before but I do not seem to find them. If someone knows where to look point me in the right direction.
I need to know what is the lowest drop we can do with 16" and 17" wheels with no rubbing. I need to know the tire size for the drop aswell.
Also for the guys that are running GR2's with a drop higher or at 1.5". How long have you been on that setup? Hows the ride quality and how are they holding up?
The reason I ask this is because a friend of mine has an awd Talon, and on his dsm boards they say to stay away from GR2's with a drop 1.5" or higher. He has shown me a couple articles on the dsm board supporting this. The reason they state is because strut will blow within a months time. On the dsm boards they ussually run AGX's. So again, if anyone has a 1.5" drop or higher with GR2's let me know the answer to the questions above.

^ That looks like less than a 2.5" drop though... Unless of course my old springs were sagging really, really badly.
Your rear gap is about the same as mine & the front gap is only slightly less than mine & I measured my drop to be around 35mm +/- 1 or 2 mm at each corner, which isn't even 1.5" (I measured from the center of each wheel to the middle of each fender).

i measured from the tow hooks to the ground before and after, and then averaged between the drop between the two. the front was lowered about a quarter inch less than the back. the pictures are kind of decieving too. i have no wheel gap up front, and the tread in the back is actually up higher than the lip of the wheel well in the back by about a half inch. you cant stick your hand in level with the wheel well without hitting sidewall in the back.
i think i may have also lowered them a bit after that picture, when i went back to make sure the sides were adjusted in sync with each other.
