Default suspension question for the masters

ok i have been doing a search on suspension issues for my 1999 Hyundai tiburon and i am now very confused.

I want to be able to do some major curve handling when done.

I have sr 1.75" springs already uninstalled due to needing struts. I have been told to use the Eibach, but I have heard that I can only use these with Eibach springs. Is this true and does anyone else recommend? If not then Eibach is strut of choice.

I am also looking for sway bars. I was palnning on using the Eibach setup but I have seen the whiteline's mentioned quite frequently and when I checked on them they have different sizes and adjustables. What size would be the best to use?

Also wanting to use strut bars, are the ones from sr any good? Basically are they functional or just to look pretty. And does sr have a lower tie bar?

I realize I might be asking alot of the same questions many people have asked before but doing the search just completely confused me on this option.

Eibach themselves say to use thier dampers only with Eibach springs. In your place, I would go with the Koni adjustables.

Struts bars actually do work. I read an article on the internet (that I can not find again, I think it was on FXtreme). The guy did G-meter and braking distance tests with and without a front strutbar installed. Results were like .2 G more lateral and 10-15 feet shorter stopping. I don't know if it was the SR bar or not.

The only under tie bar I've remember seeing advertised was on K-spec.com

This is what I'm thinking of doing for my car for autocross. It's also has to have some ride comfort because I drive it every day.
1) Camber bolts
2) Custom wound linear rate springs that will give me a 1" drop. 500 lb/in in front, 300-350 rear.
3) KYB GR2 struts/shocks
4) Upper strut bars, front and rear

I may have to go with the Koni yellows because of the spring rates, I'm not sure the GR2 shocks for the rear can handle double the stock spring rate. I have to do some more research

I while back I was doing some research in trying to decide what struts to pair up with my H&R springs for my 97 Accent. Check out this thread for some comparisons I did between the KYB GR2s for my car, and the stock dampers from the LC Accent and the stock dampers from the 4-cyl '03 Tiburon.
I know you guys are talking about the RD Tiburon, but if the GR2s for the x3 are this much better, than I think it's safe to assume the GR2s for the Tib would be similarly stiffer compared to stock.
Anyways, check it out:

yes, they are designed for stock ride height and spring rates. It's the rate that matters more than the ride height.

THey are designed for stock ride height, but if you only plan to lower the car moderately, it shouldn't be a big deal.

I have 205/40/17.The side wall on these are pretty low profile.I don't think a 225/40/16 would be as low.The wider you go,the lower the side wall rating you'd want,if you want to keep the low profile.

The only suspension mods I have so far on my tib are the 17" rims, and SR front/rear upper tie bars.I noticed some difference, but not much.As a rule, you need to do alot of upgrading before you notice a big difference.
