Default Suspension for Hyundai Tib 1.6?

In Singapore, they have Hyundai Tib 1.6 (97'/98')
I would like to know does the suspension system for Tib 1.6 fit into Tib 1.8 (97')? Are both or the suspension system the same?

Yes, the suspension is the same, but the 1.6L gets smaller/thinner swaybars.

probably has a different spring set to.

The automatic and manual tiburons use a slighty different srping on the front end. becuase of the different weight between the m/t and the auto

Hmmmmm I'm not so concern about the spring, but I'm more concern about the absorber(shock).
Will this Tib 1.6 (98') absorber fit into Tib 1.8 (97')?
Coz I get to know monroe manufacture Tib absorber, but it didnt specify if it is for 1.6 or 1.8.

Hi, it feels good to post again...
Don't worry too much about ratios, they share the same suspension components (the spring is the same size: diameter and length, and the shock assembly is the same also. If they have different ratios (which I seriously doubt) and you're going to put aftermarket parts, they are the same for any Elantra or Tiburon 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0.
I have installed in my 96 1.6 Elantra a set of H&R sport springs for a 2.0 Tiburon, and it feels great.
