anyone had this problem?

all the tie rods/ball joints/ wheel bearings are good.

but when im turning and hit a bump, i get a slight clunk.

I thought i remember seeing someone on here say you can just replace the bearing, and not the whole 35$ assembly.

anyone have a part # or a DIY? or had this problem before and sounds familiar?

Struts bolt in. Big fat bolts at bottom, mounts are not so sturdy on top. What exactly are you thinking is clunking?

Anything in the suspension can be loose or have worn/missing bushings. Don't go replacing parts before you know just what's gone bad (if anything). You might even be hearing "normal" How long have you had the car / how long has it been making this noise?

Replace the whole strut mount if your replacing it. I would replace both sides at the same time otherwise you might end up with steering that's easier to turn one way compared to the other. I have replaced the strut mounts on my car numerous times and the problem I run into is usually the 3 bolts that mount to the strut tower usually become loose in the mount itself allowing the strut to move a little bit during cornering. I don't recall ever hearing a clunking sound when I replaced my mounts but i guess it would be possible if the bearing was going out for it to make a clunking sound.

I also recommend buying the mounts from hyundai which are around $50 a piece.

i replaced the pass side wheel bearing, sway bar link and tie rod end.

Now both sides are solid, no side to side or up and down play in the wheel.

But everytime i corner and hit a bump, is when i hear the clunking aka the strut mount i think.

The car has 172k on it, so im guessing they are shot.
