ok so im sure u have all seen the strut bars that have sorta a semi curcular mount and the ones that go all the way around, what would be the differnce?

 

As it is the mounts that carry the load to and from the strut towers.. the full circle ones would be stronger than the partial or half circle ones.

 

I don't know of any (that are readily available anyway) that have "full circle" mounts for our car though.

 

The rectangular ones are the best as they have more contact to the mount and have bigger bolts going through them.
Those round ones I've seen have small bolts holding them to their mounts. They look more like elbows where they meet, than solid brackets.

 

I highly recommend the Moteria front strut bar that Importshark.com sells, I've got 2 of them, and they are the best looking and stiffest/beefiest brackets that I've seen.

 

I am probably going to make my own. I want a three point bar... possibly four if I can find a way to tie the strut towers to the firewall AND the radiator crossmember

 

How good can they possibly be if you need two of them at once!?
