44k miles and i got drag slicks and rain slicks on my car (now rotated)

01 tib, stock rims, not lowered

what yall suggest as a new tire that is quiet (most the time) and doesnt do that annoying chirp when your taking a turn slowly (without lsd....)

looking at the below 100 range... and read the reviews at TR.com but was wanting a tib'rs help...

What chirp? I have never heard a chirp from my tires when cornering.


I personally like the Kuhmo's.

Good performance tires for under $100/ea.

Sumitomo HTR-Z (by all accounts a better tire than the Kumho712)
Kumho MX
Yokohama EVS100

Of those the quietest tire is the ES100.

You could try the new Avon Tech M500...$77/tire for 205/50-15...$73 for stock size.

tire I am looking into.. the Perelli P zero Nero M&S. Here is an all season performance radial that supposedly is better than my Potenze RE750s. And they are a summer tire! Tirerack has them for 80 a piece

Topic is about good tires dont get mad about me getting them cheap :twisted: plus there is such a mark up on those tires you can push the price lower and get them for the same price as kumho's, Im just a tire guy and thats my 2 cents tongue.gif tongue.gif Hope you find tires you like .
